Economic Recovery after Ebola

Even as the Ebola outbreak starts to be contained, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea,  the three West African countries hit hardest by the Ebola epidemic, desperately need help to  rebuild their economies and boost prevention efforts.

Ebola has wrecked the economies of those countries and millions of people face destitution and hunger. With the number of new cases having dwindled after the disease took more than 10,000 lives over the past year, the leaders of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone have said they need much more financial aid to overcome the disaster and ensure it can't happen again.

The Leaders of the 3 countries say that the three countries are around one billion US Dollars short of their goal. They are asking for whatever help they can to bridge this gap.
